Terms of Service

In these Terms:

• Artist means a user who creates a portfolio profile to be discovered for film, theatre, or related performing-arts opportunities.
• Producer means a user who browses artist profiles and may initiate moderated outreach for casting or collaboration.
• User, you, or your means any person or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
• Content means text, images, audio, video, links, messages, profile information, and other material submitted to or transmitted through the Service.
• Portfolio plan means a paid tier that unlocks additional portfolio features, such as higher media upload limits.
• Identity reveal means the mutual exchange of direct contact details between conversation participants after both parties consent.

Mukha Chitram is a technology platform that helps performing artists and producers discover one another. We provide tools for profile hosting, search and discovery, moderated messaging, optional identity reveal, profile verification review, and paid portfolio features.

We are a platform only. Mukha Chitram does not:

• Employ, represent, or manage artists
• Act as a casting agency, talent agent, or production company
• Guarantee auditions, callbacks, roles, contracts, or income
• Control or supervise off-platform meetings, auditions, negotiations, or employment
• Endorse the accuracy of every credit, credential, or claim on a user profile

Any arrangement formed between users outside or inside the app is solely between those users. You are responsible for your own due diligence, including verifying identity, credentials, and terms before entering into any professional engagement.

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to register for or use the Service.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You meet the age requirement above
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You are not barred from using the Service under applicable law
• All registration and profile information you provide is truthful, current, and complete
• You will keep your information accurate and up to date
• You have all rights, licenses, and permissions needed for Content you upload

The Service is intended for users interested in professional casting and performing-arts opportunities in India and related markets. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe eligibility requirements are not met.

You may sign in using a one-time password sent to your mobile number or through other authentication methods we support from time to time.

You are responsible for:

• All activity that occurs under your account
• Maintaining the security of your device and phone number
• Promptly notifying us at support@mukhachitram.com if you suspect unauthorized access or account compromise

You may not share, sell, transfer, or allow others to use your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, subject to the retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear inactive, fraudulent, duplicated, or in violation of these Terms.

Artists may create public-facing portfolio profiles, upload media, apply for verification review, receive moderated messages, and purchase portfolio plans.

Producers may browse approved artist profiles, save shortlists, send moderated outreach messages, participate in conversations, and request identity reveal where the feature is available.

You must select the role that accurately reflects how you use the Service. Misrepresenting your role, impersonating another person, or creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions is prohibited.

We may limit features by role, region, verification status, or plan tier. Feature availability may change as the product evolves.

Artist profiles may be reviewed before or after appearing in Discover or search results. Approval, rejection, or removal of a profile is at our sole discretion based on our community standards, quality guidelines, and legal obligations.

Verification or approval does not mean we guarantee identity, talent, availability, background, safety, or suitability for any role. You should not rely on a verified badge as a substitute for your own checks.

We may request additional information, edits, or documentation before approving a profile. We may remove or downgrade profiles that become outdated, misleading, inactive, or non-compliant.

You retain ownership of Content you submit, subject to the rights you grant below.

By submitting Content to the Service, you grant Mukha Chitram a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, perform, distribute, and otherwise use your Content solely to operate, improve, promote, and secure the Service. This includes displaying your portfolio to other users, generating thumbnails or previews, moderating messages, enforcing these Terms, and complying with law.

You represent that your Content:

• Is yours or you have permission to use it
• Does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights
• Does not violate any law or contractual obligation

We may remove, restrict, or refuse to display Content at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms, creates risk, or is otherwise objectionable.

You agree to use the Service lawfully, respectfully, and in good faith. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, stalk, or discriminate against any person
• Post or send sexually explicit, violent, hateful, defamatory, or illegal Content
• Impersonate any person or misstate your identity, credits, agency affiliation, or authority
• Solicit money, fees, intimate images, or unrelated services from other users
• Use the Service for romance scams, fraud, phishing, or unauthorized commercial spam
• Upload malware, attempt to hack, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security or moderation
• Collect user data without consent or use automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Circumvent identity reveal, messaging limits, paywalls, or account restrictions
• Use the Service in a way that could harm minors or expose minors to inappropriate content
• Violate any applicable law, including laws relating to casting, labor, obscenity, or intellectual property

We may investigate violations, remove Content, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve evidence, and report conduct to law enforcement or platform partners where appropriate.

The Service includes moderated communication features designed to reduce spam and abuse. Producer outreach and certain messages may be reviewed automatically or by our team before or after delivery.

By using messaging features, you understand and agree that:

• We may read, filter, delay, edit, block, or remove messages to enforce these Terms and protect users
• We do not guarantee that all harmful conduct will be detected or prevented
• Reporting tools are available within conversations, but response times may vary
• We are not obligated to mediate disputes between users

Do not share sensitive financial information, passwords, government ID numbers, or other highly sensitive data in chat unless you accept the risk of doing so.

Direct contact details remain hidden until both participants in a conversation mutually agree to reveal them.

Once contact details are revealed:

• Further communication may continue inside or outside the app at your own discretion
• Mukha Chitram is not responsible for calls, messages, meetings, auditions, contracts, payments, or conduct that occur off-platform
• You should take reasonable precautions when meeting or working with people you met through the Service

You may decline any reveal request. Never feel obligated to share personal contact information.

Some features, including portfolio plans, require payment. Prices, features, and limits are shown in the app before purchase and may change over time.

Apple App Store and Google Play — If you purchase through Apple or Google, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by the applicable store under its terms and refund policies. Use "Restore purchases" in the app if you reinstall or change devices.

Razorpay and other web checkout — Where offered, payments may be processed by Razorpay or another payment partner. We do not store full card or UPI credentials. Refund requests may be submitted through Settings → Payments or by emailing support@mukhachitram.com. Refunds are granted only where required by law or expressly stated at purchase.

Paid features do not guarantee visibility, messages, verification approval, casting opportunities, or earnings. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun or digital features have been unlocked.

The Service, including our name, logo, software, design, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by Mukha Chitram or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no license or ownership rights are granted to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe Content on the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, email support@mukhachitram.com with:

• Identification of the work claimed to be infringed
• Identification of the material on the Service and enough information for us to locate it
• Your contact information
• A statement of good-faith belief that use is unauthorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act

We may remove reported Content and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services such as Supabase, Razorpay, Apple, Google, Sentry, Expo, or external websites and social profiles added by users.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, their terms, privacy practices, availability, or content. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

Our Privacy Policy at mukhachitram.com/privacy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. By using the Service, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in-app.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you:

• Violated these Terms or our policies
• Created risk, legal exposure, or harm to other users or Mukha Chitram
• Attempted to misuse the Service or evade enforcement

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by nature should survive — including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law — will continue to apply.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

MUKHA CHITRAM DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL CONTENT; THAT ANY USER IS TRUSTWORTHY OR QUALIFIED; OR THAT ANY CASTING OUTCOME WILL RESULT FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MUKHA CHITRAM AND ITS OWNERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, REPUTATION, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MUKHA CHITRAM FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 5,000.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mukha Chitram and its owners, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your Content or conduct
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
• Your interactions with other users, including off-platform conduct after identity reveal
• Any dispute between you and another user

We may assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

You agree that the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, claim, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your place of residence require otherwise.

Before filing a formal claim, we encourage you to contact us at support@mukhachitram.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version at mukhachitram.com/terms.

If changes are material, we may also provide notice through the app, website, or other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

Entire agreement — These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Mukha Chitram regarding the Service.

Severability — If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

No waiver — Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

Assignment — You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Force majeure — We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including network outages, natural disasters, government actions, or third-party service failures.

Language — These Terms are written in English. Any translated version is provided for convenience only.
